What if my initial deal falls through?


​If you've used us to provide a your initial home inspection and the sale falls through for any reason, we will perform the next inspection at no cost.


Do you do repairs or recommend contractors?

No. California law restricts home inspectors from doing any repairs.  Recommending contractors would be a conflict of interest and could give the appearance of unethical practice. We do however recommend the client have any repairs done by a qualified, licensed contractor.

Do you provide a warranty on your home inspections?

​Can you provide images or video?

Yes, photos and videos are included in all home inspections at no additional cost. Thermal images are also included at no additional cost if you have upgraded to thermal imaging.

Will we get a written report?

Yes. We don't just use a home inspection checklist to check things off. A comprehensive written inspection report will be available the same day as your inspection, emailed to you and your Agent in PDF format.

In the event I have concerns prior to closing, can I contact the inspector?

Yes. Careful Inspect can be reached by phone between 8am and 9pm, 7 days a week.
